Hi everyone,

Welcome to my personal website. My name is Alistair Marshall and I love to learn things and solve problems.

I am a chemical engineer by training and am chartered with IChemE. I currently work as an automation engineer for Veranova at their Edinburgh facility. Previously I worked as a process control engineer at Petroineos Grangemouth refinery, and before that in operations in both the refining and food industries.

I also devised and host Disastrous Dinners on behalf of the IChemE Scottish Members Group. This is a series of social events where we meet to discuss an accident or incident and what we can learn about it.
