Off Days

Was nice today cooking dinner, I made mince stew (or whatever it is mum makes) and it was nice. It has been a while since I got to practice my limited cooking skills. Now all I have to do is find some space in my freezer compartment to store the remains considering I made enough for about 5 people.

I think I am going to enjoy these Wednesdays with no proper classes, only pit stop tutorials. Hopefully I will use this time to catch up on work, revise previous lectures tidy the flat and cook properly. Of course this will just become a day for lounging around doing nothing before feeling guilty about it later.

Noticed a facebook group - England Appreciation Society. Whilst I generally like our neighbors and I should be used to it by now, I am amused that the group seems to have gotten England and UK mixed up again. I feel I should remind them that she is our Queen as well and that whilst we now have a parliament for domestic issues, our foreign policy is still controlled by the people in Downing Street. I thought that they had gotten better in recent years and that the days of the EBC were gone. In fact it is the England Appreciation Society however it is for everyone proud to be English! Can’t the non English appreciate the country?

/me is tempted to delete the last paragraph and just let them have their fun.
