I'm Giving a Talk

I had an odd experience last night when I received an email from IChemE inviting me to a presentation that is to be delivered by myself.

No getting out of it now then. My intent is to provide a general introduction to instrumentation and cover things that I have learnt since graduating.

If I had offered to give a talk titled 'General Introduction to Instrumentation', I suspect I would struggle to get many folk to turn up. As such, I have decided to give it a more clickbait sounding title of '10 ways control systems lie' and will incorporate examples where I have experienced problems with instrumentation and control systems since I started work.

I hope to put a copy of the slides along with a fuller description of the content of the talks on this site once the talk has been delivered.

Now all I need to do is write it.
