An Apology to RSS Feed Users

On Friday evening, I changed the script that I use to update the site. The new script is much more efficient and faster, however it caused the RSS feed to be modified in such a way that my feed reader thought that every article was a new article and reimported them all.

I was surprised at this, if anything I would have expected that it was less likely to happen with the new script. I have however now worked out what had happened, and unfortunately I need to make a further change which will probably trigger the reimporting again.

All I can do is apologise to anyone who uses the feed and be thankful that I only include the last 5 articles in the feed rather than the full back catalogue.
