In the past week my youngest son has learned to walk. He has been standing unaided for a few months now but last week he first managed to shift his weight from side to side enough to let himself take a few steps. Over the week he has become more confident and managing to walk further.
It is a great feeling watching him take these steps and he is very happy with his new skill. But I know what is coming:
You spend the first years encouraging them to learn to walk and talk. Then you tell them to sit down and be quite.
It is just a matter of time.
