Assembling Furniture Around Kids

We spent a lot of time today building some flat pack furniture. This was some shelves that we bought quite a while ago, but never got around to building because it required time, effort and patience. Three things that we rarely had on their own, let alone at the same time.

By the time we were finished, we had ran out of all three. The kids have an amazing ability to predict where you are going to want to be, then get in the way. Either that or to walk off with the thing you are about to need to use.

We got there in the end and at least we now have something to show for the effort.
