Flagchaser Spotting

Yesterday, on my way home from collecting the boys I spotted some equipment getting set up in calendar park. This morning I saw more equipment and people in the park along with a sign directing 'Adventure Show Crew'.

I didn't think any mor about it but on the way back this evening the park was much busier and I saw lots of orienteers or flagchasers as we used to call them at uni. Most were gathered around the back of calendar house though I did spot some running through the woods with map and compass in hand.

I see now that the adventure show is broadcasting a sprint orienteering event tonight live from calendar park. If the kids fall asleep soon, it might be worth a watch.
