An Unexpected Visit

As I am about to pack up and head home, I received a message from my sister saying that she was in the area, and asked if it would be ok for a visit. This worked out well. She made it to our house before me and was able to entertain the kids, while Denise had a child free kitchen to cook dinner in.

By the time I arrived my sister was well and truly caught in the 'read another book' cycle when the kids take it in turns to find yet another book to read. We then got to enjoy a nice dinner together where the kids decided to show off and forget how to use their cutlery. But they did let us talk to each other so we could catch up.

All in all it was a nice surprise for the end of the day.
