Randolph Lalonde is a self published author who has written my current favourite sci-fi series Spinward Fringe. Yesterday he posted that he has now had more than 1 million downloads and is celebrating this achievement and 10 years of self publishing with a sale on all his books.

I have been enjoying the series for the last few years, getting to disappear into the book's universe and enjoy the adventure. I have to say that I think the full price of the book's (usually around £3 each) is very cheap considering the length of time that the books keep me entertained. If it wasn't for the fact that I have already bought all of them, I would definitely be making use of the sale to buy any I was missing.

The first book in the series is free to download and read, so you can get a feel of how the series will go before spending anything.

So to sum up, I enjoyed reading them and would like to thank and congratulate Randolph for his achievements.
