Being Irritated with Good Weather

As mentioned in yesterday's post, we cancelled the party that we had planned for today. The reason that we had cancelled was because one of the kids had been ill yesterday, nothing to do with the weather. Our parties are rain or shine. We have gotten a good run of good weather, so much so that we have been accessed of witchcraft. But even the odd event that it does rain, ewe make the most of it.

When we cancelled, the forecast was telling us that it would be heavy rain all day. We consoled ourselves that at least the one we cancelled would have been a washout and it was probably a good thing.

Of course the weather has been brilliant all day with a short rain downpour around 4pm. It would have been a perfect day for one of our parties.

Perhaps we should postpone rather than cancel...
