Below is an email sent to the members of the IChemE Scottish members group
Hi Everyone,
We have been busy organising the first few events of the year, but we haven’t really gotten around to publicising them. The events are now live on the Scottish Members Group events page.
Events we have so far include:
- Cooking with Science: From molecular gastronomy to gourmet cooking (Edinburgh)\ A fun, hands-on workshop where we hope you will enjoy the blending of flavours as well as the fusion between Chemistry and Cooking.
- Troubleshooting Distillation and Absorption Column Internals (Glasgow)\ An evening workshop/seminar about the principles and troubleshooting of Distillation and Absorption.
- Disastrous Dinners: Effects of Minor Changes (Edinburgh)\ Continuing our series of Disastrous Dinner events, please join us for a talk and dinner to discuss the Chevron refinery explosion including what we can learn from this tragic event.
I would also like to ask that you fill in our events survey for 2020. It takes a lot of effort to organise these events, we want to make sure that we are focusing our energy in the right places. Please let us know your thoughts on the types of events you would like to see us host:
Thanks
